    About the experience:

    Introduce your child to the timeless art of Chinese Calligraphy through this engaging workshop for young learners.

    In this session, your child will learn how to use traditional calligraphy brushes while exploring the meaning and beauty behind Chinese characters. Through guided practice, they will be introduced to simple brush strokes and beginner-friendly writing techniques. They will also discover how Chinese calligraphy reflects culture, history, and artistic expression.

    The workshop includes an introduction to different Chinese calligraphy styles and hands-on brush writing practice to help your child build confidence step-by-step. To complete the experience, each child will complete a special calligraphy piece by writing a Chinese word on traditional red paper to bring home.

    Learning highlights:

    Beyond learning a new skill, this workshop helps children develop patience, focus, and fine motor control through careful brush movements and attention to detail. The hands-on experience also encourages creativity and self-expression while giving  your child a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture and history through the exploration of traditional calligraphy.
