About the experience:
Don’t just send your child for a class, come and see how they learn.
In this hands-on stem workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to observe how STEM learning is delivered in practice. While your child builds their own LEGO-based model, you can sit in and see how concepts are simplified and how children are guided to think, test, and solve independently.
You’ll also see how math, science, and real-world thinking are integrated in a way that helps children understand and apply what they learn.
In the “Understanding Time” session (Ages 4–5), children will build a simple LEGO clock while learning the parts of a clock (face, hour hand, minute hand), practising numbers 1–12, and understanding basic time concepts like morning, afternoon, and a simple 24-hour idea. Through hands-on building, they develop early numeracy, logical thinking, and awareness of daily routines.
In the “Harnessing Wind Energy” session (Ages 6–7), children will build a LEGO windmill while exploring how wind creates movement and energy. They will be introduced to simple machines and basic gears, and learn how these mechanisms work together to produce motion. The session also connects their build to real-world applications such as windmills and wind turbines. Through this hands-on experience, children develop early engineering understanding and awareness of how STEM concepts apply in the real world.
Learning highlights:
This workshop helps children move beyond simply following instructions to actively thinking, questioning, and problem-solving as they build. Through fully hands-on activities where each child constructs their own model, they are encouraged to explore ideas, test solutions, and refine their approach. This strengthens creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving, while building your child's confidence in working through problems independently.
At the same time, it supports key future-ready skills such as critical thinking and applied problem-solving, which are essential across both academic learning and real-life situations. For parents, it also provides a clear, first-hand experience of how STEM education develops these skills in a structured and engaging way.
