About the experience:
In this workshop, your child will learn from veterinarians in a real vet clinic. They’ll explore the responsibilities of owning a pet and what is required to keep animals happy and healthy. They will also go behind-the-scenes in an actual vet clinic and try their hands at some vet-related tasks at the Vet Play Corner.
Your child will also have a hands-on experience with items used during vet health checks such as microchips and stethoscopes, go on a behind the scenes tour of a vet clinic, and roleplay as a vet by performing various vet-related tasks (eg: reading x-ray films, preparing medication). They’ll gain a clear understanding of what happens in a vet clinic and how vets carry out health checks to keep pets healthy.
Learning highlights:
By roleplaying as a vet and trying practical tasks, your child will develop observation skills, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility. The experience also helps them feel more confident around animals and encourages empathy and care for animals.
