In this 3-hour workshop, your child will discover the basics of flower preservation and work with a selection of fresh, seasonal flowers. They will learn how flowers respond to pressing and how their colour, shape and texture can be preserved. Each child will prepare and press their own flowers, which will continue drying after the workshop and be mailed back to them approximately two weeks later.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cspan\u003eChildren will then explore the principles of botanical art and composition, including colour, balance, layering, focal points and negative space.
