About the experience
This beginner-friendly private rap session introduces children to rhythm, words, and selfexpression — using rap as a fun and engaging way to build confidence, creativity, and
communication.
Sessions are available with both Beatz Inc instructors and founder Elaine Lim, with
founder-led sessions offering a more personalised creative experience.
Led by experienced, MOE-registered instructors from Beatz Inc Music, children are guided
through simple rap patterns, rhythm exercises, and word-based activities in a way that is
engaging, age-appropriate, and developmental.
Beyond learning rap, the session helps children strengthen core skills such as listening,
timing, coordination, verbal expression, and confidence using their voice. It also gives them a safe and positive outlet to explore ideas, language, and creativity, especially if they are shy, energetic, or still learning how to express themselves more confidently.
For many children, rap becomes more than a music activity. It becomes a way to explore
rhythm, language, and self-expression while experiencing the satisfaction of creating
something original with their own voice.
