About the experience:

A creative workshop for little gardeners and storytellers.

In this hands-on workshop, kids get to create their own moss terrarium—a miniature garden with plants, rocks, driftwood, and little figurines. They’ll learn how to care for their mini landscape while using their imagination to design stories and build a tiny world of their own. Plus, they’ll get inspired by Green Chapter’s special gallery, featuring terrariums, vivariums, and aquariums that showcase real-life ecosystems and fascinating natural science.

And as a little bonus at the end, your child gets to try their hand at Japan goldfish scooping - a playful, hands-on activity where they gently scoop goldfish using a paper net.  And the best part? They get to bring their catch home.

What you will get:

Glass Covered bottles/tanks or Geometric Glass Box, Sphagnum moss, Soil Mix, Stick soil, Rocks, Small Driftwood, Figurines (worth up to $8), Moss and small plants

Learning highlight:

Ecosystem Understanding - Kids learn how plants, soil, water and air work together to support life—on a tiny, living ecosystem they can build and see.

Observation & Care - They learn to notice changes in their terrarium and care for it, cultivating patience, responsibility and mindful attention.

Hands-On Learning - Instead of just reading about ecosystems, kids get to touch, build and experience it themselves, making science real and memorable.
