About the experience
This workshop invites your child to explore the beauty of insects in a creative and meaningful way. They will create their own insect display using carefully preserved specimens, placed inside an exquisitely crafted glass dome designed to reflect the insect’s natural habitat.
Guided by seasoned facilitators, your child will also learn about the important roles insects play in nature — from helping plants grow to breaking down organic matter and why they are essential to healthy ecosystems. They will also uncover the unique stories that make each one essential to our world.
By the end of the session, your child will walk away with a beautifully crafted insect diorama — a meaningful keepsake that captures nature’s quiet complexity. All materials are provided and included in the workshop.
