About the experience:
A 60-minute, Reggio-inspired math experience where children learn through hands-on exploration, curiosity, and play.
Children move through a series of thoughtfully designed activity stations. Each session begins with storytelling, visual prompts, real-life objects, or an open-ended question to spark curiosity, before they explore activities such as building structures, loose parts play, sensory invitations, sorting, measuring, mapping, pattern-making, and collaborative challenges. Guided by educators, they are encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, and explore mathematical concepts through different approaches.
Designed around a child-led approach, the experience balances freedom to explore with purposeful facilitation. While play leads the experience, each activity is thoughtfully structured to develop key numeracy skills, including number sense, pattern recognition, spatial awareness and problem-solving, in alignment with the MOE Numeracy framework.
